How do I turn a URL into a device mockup?

Paste the URL, pick a MacBook, iPhone, or browser frame and a backdrop, then press Capture. Glassli captures the full page — it stays scrollable inside the frame — and you export a watermark-free PNG.

Does this work with any website?

Most public sites. Glassli renders the live page in a device frame, then captures a clean shot. A few sites block embedding — for those, upload a screenshot instead.

What happens if a site blocks screenshots?

If a capture comes back blank or blocked, you'll see a prompt to upload your own screenshot, which Glassli stages in the same frame.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Glassli runs in the browser — paste a URL and go.

Can I use this for client work / commercially?

Yes. Exported mockups are yours to use in portfolios, listings, decks, and client work.

How is this different from just taking a screenshot myself?

Glassli frames the page in a real device, lights it on a staged backdrop, and simulates scrolling — the staging is the point, not just the pixels.

What we store

Your account email and name, the mockups you export (stored to your gallery), and your Pro payment-claim records. Each user's saved mockups are private to that user.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't AI-generate fake screenshots — the images you see are real captures of the URLs you submit. We don't store raw passwords in the browser; authentication is handled by the platform's secure backend.

Third parties

Capture uses a screenshot service (Microlink) to render the public URLs you submit. That request includes the target URL only. Email support requests are sent to the glassli team's support addresses.

Your control

You can delete your saved mockups at any time from the Studio history. Contact us to request account data removal.
